Hi I am Carly.  I am a stay at home mom of three boys ages 11, 9 and 7 from Ancaster Ontario.

Since my boys are all in school and my at-home part-time job is finished, I needed a project and this blog is going to be it.

I really enjoy baking.  It is cathartic for me.  Some people get stressed out by baking, but I love it.

Mostly, I find things on Pinterest and figure out how to get a similar result.  But I also work smarter not harder, so Betty Crocker and Duncan Hines are my friends.

I wanted a project that would be fun but challenging and baking my way through Martha Stewart’s Baking Handbook will hopefully be just that.

I have a good repertoire of baked goods.  Cookies, pies, muffins, you name it I will find a way to make work. I am the go-to dessert person in our family.

This doesn’t make me a professional by any means.  Just some one who enjoys baking with a husband and three boys willing to eat all the finished product.
