Cornbread
We are having a BBQ and serving ribs so it is only fitting to make cornbread.
I am not a fan of cornbread, it is not bad, I just don’t go looking for it. Hubby in the other hand likes his corn bread.
He loves the cornbread at DisneyWorld so much that he bought the mix to bring home and make it
This was going to be a treat. It only had a few ingredients and should be a simple bake.
I also used my mini loaf tin for this recipe, I thought it to be a little more fun than the square tin Martha suggested
This is a simple recipe whisk the dry, cut in the fat, add the wet ingredients
I adjusted the bake time slightly to accommodate for the difference in pans,
Well they look pretty good. I really like how the mini loaves turned out
Everyone agreed that having your own personal cornbread was awesome
These were a hit. They didn’t last long
The cornmeal was a little on the coarse side for my liking, but I can ground it down further.
These had a great fluffy texture, not too dense and just a hint of sweet
Still not a huge fan of cornbread, but those who are really enjoyed it.
And they are so easy that they will be revisited
