Hulk Smash Cake

Pinata style filled cake

This is one of my most recent cakes.

I made this for middle son’s birthday this year. He always seems to get two cakes every year.

One for our family and one for “the big birthdays”

My middle’s birthday is January 17, my cousin is January 18 and my grandmother is January 23. So our whole family, kids grand kids, great-grand kids all get together for my grandmother’s birthday and I am in charge of cakes for the January birthdays…thus 2 cakes for the middle kid.

Anyhow, he wanted a Hulk Cake and I found this Hulk Smash cake on…you guessed it Pinterest!

I have the Wilton Easy Layer cake pans, they are 5 6-inch pans for easy rainbow layers etc.

I used that to make it tall, then cut circles out of the three middle layers for the “smash” part hole. I filled it with M&M’s and sprinkles, topped it with the final layer of cake and frosted it.

I couldn’t find a Hulk figure so I printed one out and put it on top with the remaining M&M’s.

It was pretty amazing when we cut into it!
